Design Work for Wayne State University – College of Engineering
Student Designer, Dean’s Office
During my time at the College of Engineering Dean’s Office, I created a range of branded materials to support internal operations and communications. This included over 20 custom door signs for office identification, official notepads for the Dean, a package receiving log book layout, detailed floor maps, and an infographic for a university AI initiative. I also designed a poster for a campus-wide event outside the College of Engineering. All designs followed Wayne State’s brand guidelines. These works are owned by Wayne State University.
Notepad
Designed custom notepads exclusively for the Dean’s official use, featuring Wayne State University branding for memos, meetings, and desk stationery.
Produced over 20 office and room signage to ensure consistent branding and clear wayfinding within the College of Engineering. This included nameplates and room identifiers styled with the WSU brand.
Door Signs
I developed color-coded building floor maps used for navigation and room management. The maps distinguish between occupied, vacant, and other functional spaces for efficient room tracking and visitor guidance.
Building Maps
Created a detailed infographic for a university presentation on AI support for Veterans Affairs. This visual simplified complex data pathways and relationships using icons, radial structure, and clear typography.

Receiving Log Book Layout
I designed a clean, functional layout for the package receiving log used by the front desk. The format allows staff to efficiently record deliveries while highlighting critical info such as tracking numbers, carriers, and special handling needs.
Event Poster (University-Wide)
Although not part of the College of Engineering, I also designed an orientation poster for the "AI Imagined" event hosted by the university. The design followed the university’s visual identity while incorporating session highlights and time blocks for clarity.
This experience strengthened my skills in professional layout design, institutional branding, and creating functional print materials. I also learned how to design within brand guidelines while meeting real administrative needs.
