Impact Report Booklet
Department: Development & Alumni Affairs
This editorial booklet was designed to transform detailed technical content into a clean, engaging, and easy-to-read publication for James and Patricia Anderson College of Engineering Development & Alumni Affairs team. The goal was to present complex information in a way that feels approachable while maintaining a professional and polished visual identity for donor communications.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was organizing a large amount of text-heavy content without overwhelming the reader. The layout needed to establish a clear visual hierarchy, improve readability, and guide readers naturally from one section to the next.

The primary challenge was organizing a large amount of text-heavy content without overwhelming the reader. The layout needed to establish a clear visual hierarchy, improve readability, and guide readers naturally from one section to the next.
The Solution
I created a clean editorial layout using the university's brand guidelines, consistent typography, and ample white space to improve readability. The content was organized into clear sections—including the project background, objectives, challenges, expected outcomes, and budget—to guide readers through the story of the research and its potential impact.
Result
The final design delivers a professional, donor-facing publication that communicates information clearly and effectively. By combining strong typography, thoughtful layout, and restrained visual elements, the booklet creates an engaging reading experience while maintaining clarity and credibility.
